Clément Lenglet's return to Tottenham Hotspur is looking increasingly unlikely.

"AC Milan are ready to compete with Al Nasr for the player's signature," Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Thursday.

Lingleton joined Tottenham from Barcelona on loan last year. Spurs had missed out on all of their original targets at the time and were forced to bring him in on short notice.

He hasn't disappointed. Langlais made 35 appearances across all competitions last season, and was praised for doing his part in the team's extreme downturn.

That didn't last with Spurs. Lenglet returned to Barcelona last month when his loan deal with Spurs expired. Spurs also announced the news on their official website.

The relationship wasn't completely over. Spurs 토토사이트 have been in talks with Barcelona about an outright transfer to bring Lenglet back.

The transfer fee was the stumbling block. Barcelona insisted on a transfer fee of €15 million for Lenglet. Tottenham demanded that the fee be reduced to €10 million.

As negotiations stalled, a third party stepped in. Saudi Arabia's Al Nasr wanted to join Marcelo Brozovic and complete the squad with Linglet.

The battle for the player intensified. According to the report, Milan consider Langlais to be an attractive option to bolster their defense.

Milan's interest in Langlais was serious. "Milan have been in talks with Barcelona in recent days over a possible transfer for Langlais," the outlet said.
